Gene R. Solomon, CPA , JD, ABV, CFF

Gene serves as one of the firm’s Managing Partners. He opened his Certified Public Accounting practice in Fort Myers in 1987 to provide personalized tax and financial services to individuals and businesses. He was formerly with Arthur Anderson in Tampa, Florida and later with the firm of Taylor, Edenfield, Gilliam & Wiltshsire in Fort Myers, where he guided the tax practice through a merger with Coopers & Lybrand. 

Gene has years of experience and a wide range of clients, specializing in Estate, Gift and Income tax matters including IRS examinations and related topics.

He received his accreditation in Business Valuations and Financial Forensics from the American Institute of CPAs in 2008.

A member of the Florida Institute and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Gene has been serving individuals and business clients for years and has represented and advised clients in such industries as:

Gene has been an active leader in numerous organizations and directorships. He has served on Southwest Florida Community Foundation (30 yrs), Edison Community Foundation (15 yrs) and First Community Bank Southwest Florida.

Michele M. Hoover, CPA

Michele serves as one of the firm’s Managing Partners.  She was formerly with the Cleveland, Ohio CPA firm of Walthall, Drake & Wallace LLP for 11 years, where she represented more than 300 clients.  She has over 25 years of public and corporate accounting and auditing experience. 

Her client services and specialties include audit team leadership and assisting clients in securing financing, and managing construction spending, projections and forecasts.  Michele also performs audits, reviews, compilations, and tax returns. 

Her wealth of experience spans a wide range of industries such as:

• Retail Manufacturing and Trade Associations 

As a QuickBooks® Certified Pro Advisor since 1999, Michele teaches Mastering QuickBooks® for Intuit, the only Intuit-endorsed instruction program in the United States. 

Giving back to the community is important to Michele. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Betty Allen Gynecologic Cancer Foundation whose vision is to protect women and girls from gynecologic cancers through education, research advocacy and service. She is also an active member of the Greater Ft. Myers Chamber of Commerce.
